New England is expecting to see some wind, rain, and from northern Rhode Island and beyond, some snow, but when?

According to NOAA, a Hurricane Warning for Zeta was issued from Morgan City Louisiana to the MS/AL state line. Hurricane conditions are expected within the Hurricane Warning area on the northern Gulf Coast late Wednesday, with tropical storm conditions beginning Wednesday afternoon.

Now for southern New England.

According to the National Weather Service, once the remnants of Zeta arrive to the area on Thursday, rain should begin to fall during the late morning and afternoon on Thursday with highs in the mid 50s and west wind around 5 mph.

Heavy rain is expected to come into the area Thursday evening and overnight into Friday morning. 1-2 inches of rain can be expected with winds of over 20 mph.

Rain is expected to taper off on Friday afternoon concluding with some possible wet snow, especially north and in the higher elevations, as temperatures drop to the low 30s.

The sun should return on Saturday.
