Hatchet throwing establishment to open in Fall River in early May
A new form of entertainment is coming to Fall River soon.
As some of you may know, a national franchise hatchet throwing establishment has been in the works in the city and now it is finally getting closer to opening. According to co-owner Kim Besse, Stumpy’s Hatchet House is looking at an early May opening down at 75 Ferry Street.
Stumpy’s is about 6000 square feet and will have 8 pits with 2 targets in each pit.
The Hatchet House is a bring your own beer/wine/snacks destination for people 21 and over. Once training is complete, you are off to the pits. Depending on your group’s reservation time slot- play time runs for 1 hour or 2 hours.
Considering hatchets are being thrown, locations across the country tend to have a lounge like feel with couches and chairs. You can even hold events there.
Besse stated that Douglas Rouse of Rouse66 will also be painting a mural on an interior wall of Stumpy’s in mid April.
