Dead body found Thursday in Fall River deemed not suspicious

A body was found this morning in the north end of Fall River.

Fall River Police received a call just before 8:00 a.m. to the 3700 block of North Main Street where a party was reportedly hanging from a tree in the woods.

Responders arrived on scene where they stayed for several hours according to witnesses. The medical examiner also arrived on scene.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, the death has been determined a suicide.
