A veteran of the Iraq war has started a GoFundMe page to raise money to build a wall at the Mexican border and the total already raised may surprise you.

37 year old Airman Brian Kolfage, who is a triple amputee after surviving a rocket attack during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004, has begun a campaign to have the public fund a border wall. The purple heart recipient and public speaker states “Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society.”

Kolfage has expressed on the GoFundMe page what he refers to as “democrats stalling on the project”. In about 4 days the page has already received over $3.6 million dollars in donations and 626,000 shares. Over 53,000 people have donated as of this writing. Kolfage states that if the fundraiser doesn’t come close or reach the goal of $1 billion dollars that everyone who has donated will get every penny refunded back to them. “If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall.” GoFundMe has a cap of $1 billion dollars, but Kolfage, however, is looking to get it raised.

In addition to the “We The People Will Fund The Wall” GoFundMe page, Kolfage has also created a Facebook page called GoFund The Wall that has over 40,000 followers in under 24 hours.
