It seems that people are often complaining that there are not enough things to do. A company is looking to change that with a new entertainment spot geared towards adults coming to our area.

According to President and CEO Matthew DuPlessie, Level99 is in the early stages of a new project in Providence.

“Level99 will be coming to Providence Place in the fourth quarter of 2023. This will be Level99’s second location. It will feature some of our players’ favorite games, as well as dozens of new challenge rooms, arena contests, and local artwork unique to Providence. Night Shift Brewing will provide elevated food and craft beverage options. Construction began earlier this month in the space previously occupied by JC Penny on the third level, and more updates will follow!”

Level99 currently has a 48,000 square foot complex in Natick featuring first-of-its-kind, challenge-based entertainment venue that is geared more to adults then young children.

Promotional information released by Level99 on their Natick location gives you an idea of what to expect.

“For the adventure seeker, Level99 provides players with over 40 themed challenge rooms designed to test your team of 2-6 players both physically and mentally as you work together to master challenges and earn rewards.”

“If competition is more your style, because you spent most of your time arguing with your teammates in the challenge rooms, then face off against them in a variety of player-vs-player arena-style competitions for bragging rights.”

“Or if you are into exploring, try to unravel the detailed scavenger hunts built into 50+ custom art features which decorate the space, each hand-made by local Boston artists.”

“And if you’re not into scavenger hunts but have a wicked social media following, then the custom art features act as an epic background for all of your selfies.”

“When you get thirsty, grab a locally produced craft beer and a shareable snack in the Night Shift Beer Hall.”

“Or, for a more authentic brewery dining experience, visit the Night Shift Tap Room & Kitchen for an amazing local craft beer, wine, or cocktail and a full menu of craft entrees expertly prepared by the culinary team in our scratch kitchen.”

DuPlessie stated that he will have clearer answers on the Providence location in the fall when they start hosting media tours.
