Fully involved garage fire spreads to home in Rehoboth
A fire destroyed a garage and its contents along with part of a home Friday in Rehoboth.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Rehoboth Fire Department responded to a residence on Plain Street for a report of a garage fire.
Upon arrival, a steel garage containing two vehicles and other hazards was found to be fully involved in fire. The garage was situated 8 feet from the rear of the house which received heat and smoke damage.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.
The fire remains under investigation. No injures were reported.
