Freeze Warning and Wind Advisory announced as temperatures drop with strong winds
Windy conditions and cold temperatures are headed our way.
Both a Freeze Warning and a Wind Advisory have been announced by the National Weather Service.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 are expected and west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.
The Freeze Warning and Wind Advisory covers Central Middlesex MA, Western Essex MA, Western Norfolk MA, Northern Bristol MA, Western Plymouth MA, Southern Bristol MA, Southern Plymouth MA and Northern Middlesex MA Counties.
The Freeze Warning is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 AM EDT Sunday.
The Wind Advisory is taking place from 11 AM this morning to 7 PM EDT this evening.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
NWS warns that freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
The National Weather Service recommends to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle and to secure outdoor objects.
