Free lunch and breakfast for all Fall River public students, select school start and end times changing

In an update, the Fall River School Committee this week approved free lunches and breakfasts for all Fall River Public School students.

Also, due to a rise in transportation costs for the city, some Fall River schools will be seeing a change in start times and finish times to the school day. The changes will help lower the increased cost in bus transportation.

Start/end times were scheduled to change at Durfee and Spencer Borden schools, however, after Thursday’s meeting, they will now go unchanged due to traffic concerns. The new approved time changes for Doran also changed slightly.

The list of start/end times for the various schools for 2019/2020 is as follows:
