Free Family Field Day on Sunday at UMass Dartmouth
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office is hosting a free family field day on Sunday, September 17th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cressy Field on the campus of UMass Dartmouth 285 Old Westport Road in North Dartmouth.
There will be something for everyone. Petting zoo, food tents, and various races and sporting events are scheduled. Some of them include, basketball, golf, baseball, hockey, soccer, football, dizzy bat races, tug of war, potato sack races, and three legged races. If you are looking for something a little more adventurous, there will be a rock wall climb, a 64 foot obstacle course, and an inflatable bungee run.
They will be handing out a free sports bag to each family that attends. Fun 107 will also be live at the event with music. Bristol County D.A. resource and service information will also be available.
Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Brian Rose helped organize the event.
