Free Fall River Disability Awareness Day Event to offer food, fun, knowledge
An event to both educate others and to also help those with disabilities is coming to Fall River.
Join the Fall River Commission on Disability and participating organizations to help educate on disability and discover resources available to individuals with disabilities.
The event is taking place on Saturday September 28th at Kuss Middle School, 52 Globe Mills Ave.
The event is free and all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend.
Free pizza and drinks will be available along with resource tables for adults and children.
Part of the event includes children earning a free treat for each table they stop at to learn about disabilities.
The event is scheduled from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and will feature a “Drums Alive” performance by The Pulse from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. There will also be a special appearance by Animal Instincts.
