Former member of Portuguese Kids comedy group arrested for second time after incident at ex-girlfriend’s home
A former member of the Portuguese Kids comedy group has been charged after being found guilty this summer on separate charges.
According to paperwork filed by the Dartmouth Police, on Thursday, Dartmouth Police responded to a home on Canterberry Lane for a report of an attempted breaking and entering into a residence. The resident and her friend informed Dartmouth Police Dispatch that the suspect, later identified as 43-year-old Albert Sardinha of Fall River, attempted to gain entry through a window and door.
While units were responding, Sardinha fled, but was located by Ptl. Andrew Fredette in his vehicle a short distance away from the home. Ptl Fredette recovered a set of binoculars, electrical tape, a flashlight, a digital audio recorder with extension microphone, zip ties, and a black cell phone. All items along with a grey knit winter cap were seized and secured as evidence.
The victim believed that Sardinha was possibly recording her with his phone through her second-floor bedroom window. Following this, the victim stated that Sardinha then went to a first-floor door and attempted to gain access by trying to turn the locked knob and tugging the door. The victim believed this was an attempt to forcefully gain entry into the residence.
Sardinha was taken into custody and transported to the Dartmouth Police Station. He was charged with Attempt to Commit a Crime and Disorderly Conduct.
The victim was reportedly previously involved with Sardinha.
An emergency restraining order listing Sardinha as the defendant was granted by an on-call judge.

First off, what is wrong with this girl? She must have known his past and she shouldn’t be involved with this maniac.
Obviously, Mr. Sahrdina is mentally ill and needs to be in a hospital. It seems like his story won’t end well if he’s allowed to stay free.
I know some of his family and they are normal, law-abiding people. My heart goes out to his family. They shouldn’t have to deal with this during the holidays.
Put this guy into a hospital and get him the help he needs before he hurts/kills someone. I’m not trying to be mean, he obviously is crying out for help.

This is terrible. Sometimes we just can’t understand what makes a person become obsessed with another person. The real sad part of this is that Albert was such a nice person and his family, who I know personally, are hard working wonderful people. So sad! I hope Albert gets some counseling to hopefully stay away from the victim.

Piece of crap,to use the Portuguese culture and get fame,this kid has problems good thing i never bought anything from his tent at fall river celebrates America at kennedy park.sounds like a stalker to me, dont you know how to pick up a girlfriend rather then force yourself in there home?What is wrong with you of course you come from good hard working background i do too but i would never stalk like you.
