Fire, local police, Massachusetts State Police respond to vehicle that bursts into flames on Route 195
Crews responded to a fire that erupted on a vehicle on Route 195.
On Tuesday evening, Chief 1, Engine 1, and Engine 4 of the Mattapoisett Fire Rescue responded to Route 195 West for a motor vehicle fire.
The sole occupant was able to exit the vehicle safely, but the vehicle is a total loss.
The Mattapoisett Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police assisted with traffic during the incident.
The blaze is under investigation.
