Fire crews respond to fiery crash on Route 95 in Mansfield
Fire crews responded to a serious fiery crash Wednesday.
According to the Mansfield Fire Department, at approximately 6:23 p.m., Mansfield Engine 32, Rescue 34, and Foxboro Ladder 26, and rescue 27 were dispatched to Route 95 north for a reported motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, companies found a vehicle on its side fully engulfed in flames.
Luckily, the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own prior to the arrival of the fire crews.
The fire was extinguished, and Rescue 34 transported the driver to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Amazingly, the driver suffered from only minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
