Fall River’s Yorgan DeCastro to face former UFC heavyweight champion Dos Santos
Fall River’s Yorgan DeCastro is set to take on an MMA legend.
DeCastro is set to face former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, according to ESPN.
The main event bout is scheduled to take place at Eagle FC on May 20th at FLXcast Arena in Miami.
Dos Santos (21-9), who beat Cain Velasquez in 2011 to become the UFC heavyweight champion, is considered one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. After a 4-fight losing streak, dos Santos began to be featured in professional wrestling in the AEW, before recently signing with Eagle FC.
The Mad Titan (8-3) has won his last two fights after leaving the UFC including a submission victory against Shaun Asher.
The card is also expected to feature a matchup between Hector Lombard and Thiago Silva.
