Fall River’s U.S. Bedding presented the 2021 Manufacturer of the Year Award

Fall River, MA (October 28, 2021) – State Representative Carole Fiola presented U.S. Bedding with the 2021 Manufacturer of the Year Award on October 27th at U.S. Bedding at their facility located at 941 Grinnell Street. Each year, the Massachusetts Manufacturing Legislative Caucus invites legislators to nominate a manufacturer for this honor in October in celebration of Manufacturing Month.

Formed in 2002, U.S. Bedding is a family owned and operated business in Fall River. President David Nguyen immigrated to the United States from Vietnam and moved his business to a facility on Quarry Street in 2006. Now over a decade later, with over 36 employees, Nguyen is still committed to keeping his business in Fall River.

“Fall River is lucky to have community centered business owners such as David,” stated Representative Fiola. “Having local manufacturers stay in the city provides jobs and economic opportunities here in the city. I was proud to nominate U.S. Bedding for the 2021 Manufacturer of the Year award and thank David and his family for their dedication to the city”.

Formed in August 2014, the Massachusetts Manufacturing Legislative Caucus includes more than 60 legislators from around the Commonwealth. Lawmakers focus on training for manufacturing employees, encouraging innovation by helping start-ups access resources, and expand apprenticeship opportunities in key manufacturing sectors.
