Unfortunately, a Fall River business will soon be no more.
Troy City Brewing & Distilling Company on Anawan Street announced on social media Sunday that they are closing for good.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news our small craft brewery & distillery will be pouring our last pints.
“Troy City Brewing & Distilling Company will be closing its doors permanently, with our final day of service on Sept 30th, 2026.
“Running this space and sharing a pint with all of you has been an incredible journey. We want to thank everyone that has supported us over the years. A special thank you to all the staff that made TCB a special place in Fall River, Massachusetts.
“We are deeply grateful for the friendships, laughter, and community we built together over the last eight years.
“Please come by over the next few weeks to raise one last glass with us.
“Thank you for the amazing journey, and we appreciate all the success and support over the years.”
According to the company’s website, “in 2006, Keith Carvalho started a homebrew club in Fall River, MA called Troy City Homebrew. Since then, Keith’s passion for brewing has led him to the commercial stage. In 2017 Keith teamed up with lifelong friend and local business owner, Michael Ferreira, to bring brewing back to Fall River.”
Troy City Brewing brews small-batches of unique styled beer.
Earlier this month, J.W.G. Auctioneer had announced that they will be auctioning off the brewing equipment in early October.
