Fall River’s COVID-19 trends continue in positive direction in Tuesday report

Fall River has seen an increase in new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The City saw 3 more cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River at 1,623.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 107.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.

Tuesday, COVID-19 cases decreased due to corrected addresses. Wednesday revealed 3 additional cases. Thursday and Friday combined for 25 more cases after a nursing home spike. Saturday saw 2 additional cases. Sunday’s report revealed 5 cases. Monday’s report confirmed 3 more cases.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
