Chipotle is opening a drive-thru restaurant in Fall River today!

This marks the area’s first Chipotlane, the company’s signature drive-thru concept. Fans can place their order ahead of time via the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com and pick up their food without leaving their cars.

The location at 575 Newton Street is open every day 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The first 50 people in line receive complimentary Chipotle Goods merchandise.

Guests who sign up for Chipotle Rewards will receive free chips and guac after their first purchase.

Chipotle is also still hiring at the Fall River restaurant and across the U.S.

Chipotle Mexican Grill which currently has area locations in North Dartmouth, Raynham, and Seekonk, was in front of the Fall River Licensing Board on September 15th for a Common Victualler License to be able to operate the eatery. Chipotle was granted the license pending building inspection.

Chipotle made the first move back in May when they submitted a site plan to the City Planner which was approved.

The restaurant specializes in burritos and tacos that are made to order right in front of the customer.

The restaurant chain is located in a new 2,300 square foot building in the area of the Fall River Plaza that currently holds ALDI and Ocean State Job Lot on William S. Canning Blvd.

Chipotle also offers its fans the opportunity to host fundraisers for a wide range of causes that they support. 33% of event sales are given back to the respective cause, and all fundraisers include an in-person and digital component. To date, Chipotle has hosted 286K fundraisers and raised $83M for causes that its fans support. If you are interested, check the company’s website.
