Fall River woman promoted by BayCoast Bank, lauded for leadership, communication, work in community

SWANSEA, FALL RIVER, MA – BayCoast Bank (baycoast.bank), a long-time community savings bank serving the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is pleased to announce the promotion of Filomena F. Lopes of Fall River, Massachusetts to Business Development and Relationship Management Officer.

In this role, Lopes actively seeks new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships with customers to meet their financial needs.

Lopes joined BayCoast Bank in February of 2010 as a Customer Service Associate and has been promoted numerous times throughout her career with the Bank. Prior to this most recent promotion, she held the title of Assistant Treasurer, Branch Manager.

She received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and Management from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth.

Lopes is an active volunteer within her community and beyond, serving as Board Secretary & Fundraising Committee Chair with Citizens Scholarship Foundation (Dollars for Scholars); as a member of the Saint Vincent’s Development Committee; and a member of the Rotary Club of Fall River.

    CONGRATULATIONS! NO ONE DESERVES IT MORE. I have been dealing with her for 2 or 3 years now and she is the most helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely nice person.
