A Fall River woman is looking to find someone who helped her during her time of need.

Mandi Medeiros took to social media looking for a man who came to her aid after a crash near the Barney Avenue/Route 6 intersection in Rehoboth Friday.

“Yesterday, I got into a pretty bad car accident down the street from my job in Rehoboth/Seekonk. I was in shock and freaking out and this kind young man ran across all traffic and right over to me and shut my car off immediately asking me if I was okay. He told me he worked in Seekonk, and he had shoulder length blond hair. He offered me to sit in his car, to take me for food after and to bring me anywhere I needed to go. He stood the whole time with myself and the other driver until I was taken away in ambulance when I didn’t even get to thank him. So, with the best of my description, I hope I can find him, or he sees this. I just wanted to thank you for going out of your way for a stranger to make sure I was okay. I still don’t know how I walked away from that. I wish I gave you a hug.

Medeiros is also looking to start a petition concerning the intersection where the crash took place.

“That intersection is very dangerous. It feels like a death trap every time you have to cross over from Barney Ave. A Motorcyclist lost their life there this summer and there’s constant accidents. I’m super careful every time I go through there but because there’s no light between the long strip, people are going 60 mph down that road. If I was two seconds faster, I don’t think I would have walked away. I want to get a light put there. It’s so dangerous and I can’t stop thinking about it.”

    I’m familiar with that intersection
which is one of several dangerous intersections along rt.6.
Good luck with your petition which I would gladly sign and your search for the good samaritan who came to your rescue.
    God bless
