Fall River woman, brother, searching for birth mother

A Fall River woman and her brother are hoping the public can help them find their birth mother.

Makayla Sevasin has begun the search for both her and Kyle and they believe their mom, Sandra Sousa still lives in the Fall River area.

Makayla has a few clues that may help locate her.

“I was born in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital on December 31st of 2000.”

According to Makayla, this picture was with her birth certificate of adoption.

“DCF had told my adoptive mom that they thought maybe I’d like to have it when I turned older. It’s the only thing I have of her.”

We asked Makayla what made her decide to begin searching for her birth mother.

“It is really important for me and my brother Kyle to find her. I’ve been wanting to find her for a while now. Ever since I turned 18. I finally know how to stand up for myself and do what I think is best for me now. For the longest time people were almost against me finding her, but now I’m finally able to do it the way I think is best for me and my brother Kyle.”
