Fall River woman arrested on gun and drug charges by Fall River, Swansea Police
A Fall River woman has been arrested on drug and gun charges.
According to Captain Jay Huard, on Sunday, March 7th, members of the Fall River Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit and Swansea Police Department served a search warrant for room number 111 of The Rodeway Inn located at 999 Grand Army of the Republic Highway (GAR) in Swansea. The target of the search warrant was 30-year-old Amanda Cabral.
A search of the hotel room occurred and the following illegal items were located:
A cardboard box on the counter of the bathroom sink that contained a loaded silver and black Iver Johnson .38 caliber revolver.
Five rounds of .38 ammunition.
A small plastic container containing a small amount of suspected to be crack cocaine
Cabral was charged with Possession of a Firearm without FID Card, Possession of Ammunition without FID Card, and Possession of a Class B Drug.
