Fall River to host cooling center through weekend as heat continues to scorch city

(FALL RIVER, MA- July 20, 2022)- Due to forecasted temperatures, the City of Fall River will continue to host a cooling center in Government Center through the upcoming weekend. The dates and times are as follows:

• Friday, July 22nd: 10am-3pm
• Saturday, July 23rd: 12pm-4pm
• Sunday, July 24th: 12pm-4pm

Residents are asked to enter through the building’s Third Street entrance. During this heat wave, residents are encouraged to drink plenty of water, stay inside, avoid
strenuous activity and to check in on vulnerable family, friends and neighbors.
