Fall River, Tiverton Fire Department battle fire near town line Thursday
Both Fall River and Tiverton Fire Departments battled a blaze late Thursday afternoon.
A call came in at approximately 5:45 p.m. for a fire at 54 Aquidneck Drive in Tiverton near the Fall River line.
Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming out of the building that holds equipment for F.C. Construction out of Westport.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke.
The fire was knocked down with in an hour, according to TFD.
Mutual aid station coverage was provided by Portsmouth and Bristol Fire.
No injuries were reported.
Fall River Special Services Members responded with Rehab 1 and Lighting 1 to provide ice cold water, Gatorade, and wet and dry towels to overheated firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
