Fall River surpasses 2,300 COVID-19 cases

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Tuesday’s report.

According to the mayor’s office, 2,303 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, an 8 case increase over the weekend.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 136.

Wednesday’s report announced 9 more COVID-19 cases. 10 cases were reported on Thursday. Friday saw 6 cases. 45 cases were announced for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Today, the Fall River Board of Health issued Halloween guidance which suggests avoiding trick-or-treating.

    Well if stores like stop and shop would close and sanitize and let people know that 9 people have covid the numbers wouldn’t go up
