Fall River Sunday evening fire displaces residents
Fall River firefighters made quick work of a fire in the city Sunday.
The fire started just before 8:00 p.m. where smoke could be seen from the attic of the three family home. Crews responded, blocked off the area, and had the fire knocked down within minutes.
The fire began in the attic and spread to the third floor at 591 Fourth Street.
No injures were reported.
According to the Red Cross, they were assisting at least 3 residents and one pet at the residence.
