Fall River set to begin semi-annual hydrant flushing

The city of Fall River will begin flushing fire hydrants between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on September 25th with the process ending on November 4th.

The Water Division warns that you may have discolored water during this time. As a precaution, you may want to check your water during these dates. Especially before doing your laundry.

The flushing is done as part of the water distribution maintenance program.
