Fall River Senior Center closing to soon open in new location
A Fall River Senior Center will soon be closing to open in a new location.
The Flint Senior Center at 1423 Pleasant Street will be closed Monday, July 22nd – Friday, August 2nd while they move into their new facility. The new facility located at 69 Alden Street will open on Monday, August 5th according to Tess Curran, MPH Director of Health and Human Services.
The new spot will be located inside the refurbished Fall River Knitting Mills Apartments where new senior living apartments are located.
The Center holds lunch, bingo, arts and crafts, Zumba, movie matinee day and other activities for seniors.
The hours have been Mon – Fri: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
