Fall River sees double digit cases in today’s COVID-19 report, receives yellow designation by Baker
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Tuesday’s report.
The City saw 12 new cases in today’s report for the third straight day, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,852.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 118.
Wednesday revealed 1 new COVID-19 case. On Thursday, 3 cases were announced. 3 cases were also reported on Friday and Saturday. Sunday saw 6 new cases. On Monday, Fall River saw 6 additional cases.
It was revealed in the metrics that Fall River is in the second tier of COVID-19 risk.
The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
