Fall River sees 3 more reported COVID-19 deaths in Tuesday report
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Tuesday’s report.
The City received a report of 21 new cases over the last four days, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the COVID-19 case total in Fall River increase to 1,982.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River increased to 127 after the City was informed of 3 more fatalities.
2 COVID-19 cases were announced on Wednesday. 7 cases were revealed on Thursday. Friday, 5 additional COVID-19 cases were reported.
The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
