Fall River sees 3 COVID-19 related deaths over the weekend, single digit cases Monday

Fall River saw an increase in cases of COVID-19 Monday.

The City saw 2 cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,645.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River increased to 111 as the city saw 3 more fatalities over the weekend.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.

Tuesday saw 3 reported COVID-19 cases. Wednesday saw no new cases. Thursday added 4 more cases. Fall River saw 10 additional cases on Friday. Saturday, Fall River’s report had no new cases of COVID-19. Sunday, Fall River added 6 new cases.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
