Fall River Schools announce tragic death of city student
UPDATE: The Department of Children and Families received a report on this tragic situation and is investigating.
According to Superintendent Malone, a Fall River student tragically passed away Thursday evening.
The student attended Fonseca School and Malone expressed deep sadness of the loss.
Fall River Public Schools will be offering support to staff, students, families, and personnel.
Grief counseling will be available this afternoon from 4:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 P.M. at Fonseca School at 160 Wall Street.
