Fall River roadwork and closures scheduled for the week of October 24th

Officials have released a bulletin to give residents and drivers a heads-up concerning road construction that is expected to take place in the city this week.

According to Liberty Utilities and Ferreira Construction, the following Fall River streets are expected to have road construction for the week of October 24th. Delays and road closures are expected at these locations.

Beverly St.
Brow St. – Near intersection of Fifth St.
Fifth St. – Mid to late week, near intersection of Hartwell St.
Grattan St.
Maple St. – Heading west from June St. towards N. Main St.
Maple St. – Between Colfax St. and Beverly St.
Progress St – Saturday work – Near intersection of Stafford Road.
Prospect Street – Between Hanover St. and Stetson St.
Prospect Street at Highland Avenue – Saturday work – Installing new gas main across Prospect Street.
Quarry St – Saturday work at 387 Quarry St.
Quequechan St.
Rock St. – At Pearce St. heading south towards Prospect St.
Stevens St. – Heading south from McGee St.
Webster St.
