Fall River RMV Service Center to become a Registration Drop Off Center only

Published

Apparently some changes are about to take place at the Fall River Registry of Motor Vehicles.

According to the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents, as of Monday, May 10th, the RMV Service Center at Fall River will become a Registration Drop Off Center ONLY, and will no longer offer appointments for other transactions.

The New Bedford location will offer appointments for ALL transaction types.

The RMV is making these changes, according to the MAIA, to give additional options to their customers in Southeastern MA.

UPDATE: Fall River Registry of Motor Vehicles changes not taking place after all

What kind of bull$hit is this. We need to go to New Beige to conduct registry business now? Why and who made this decision? Fall River residents treated as second class citizens again! Are us taxpayers still going to be covering the costs of this boondoggle of an operation?
