Fall River retailers begin in-store shopping, restaurants begin outdoor dining with phase 2 opening
Governor Baker announced Saturday that phase 2 of the reopening of the Massachusetts economy will take place on Monday. With that, area retailers and restaurants are getting ready.
Old Navy will be opening their doors to in-store shopping on Monday. Their hours tomorrow will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. According to associates, 49 customers will be allowed to shop at one time. If they hit the 49 customer limit, patrons will remain outside until a new spot opens up. Bathrooms and fitting rooms will be closed.
While many area restaurants have been open for delivery or curbside pick-up, restaurants such as Lepage’s Seafood are taking reservations for outside patio dining. Beginning Monday, weekday seating will be taken at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. time slot added on Friday & Saturday. They are closed on Tuesday.
19 Prime Tapas will be open for outdoor seating starting Monday at 11:00 a.m. Reservations aren’t required, but are recommended.
Barrett’s Waterfront will be opening for limited outdoor seating on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
Later in Phase 2, restaurants will be allowed to open for indoor seating with restrictions and guidelines.
