Fall River residents lend a helping hand for Earth Day

Comcast, Groundwork Southcoast, Friends of the Quequechan River Rail Trail, Mass in Motion Fall River, Amazon, Peer 2 Peer, Durfee High School, Fall River Young Marines, UMASS Dartmouth, Bristol Community College, Fall River DCM workers, Fall River Parks Dept workers, Fall River Bike Committee, and many residents of Fall River came together to remove over 2000 pounds of trash including over 30 tires, metal, and other debris according to organizers.
Comcast donated supplies, Ace Hardware on South Main St supplied leaf bags, and Twice the Ice dropped by bags of ice to aid in the cleanup.
