Fall River Police show up to accident scene to find vehicles empty
Usually, at least one party sticks around when an accident happens between two vehicles. This was not the case, however, concerning an accident that took place on Saturday.
According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Fall River Police Department Officer’s responded to the area of Bay Street and Charles Street for a reported vehicle accident.
When FRPD arrived at the scene, they found one vehicle with no occupants in the area.
Police later located the second vehicle involved in the crash at a nearby parking lot.
That vehicle also was left abandoned.
There was no word if any of the parties had been located.
Wiley stated that the incident is still under investigation.
