Fall River police seek suspect in 2 city robberies that occurred last week.

On Tuesday, February 6th at approximately 2:30 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at 7-Eleven on 1237 Pleasant Street. Officers Amy Robinson and Paul McGuire of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division responded.

According to the clerk, a white male wearing a long black coat with fur on the hood entered the store and grabbed a pastry off the display and a drink from the cooler. The male then walked to the counter and now had a tan scarf covering the bottom half of his face and a six-inch steak knife in his hand.

The male demanded money from the register. The clerk handed the male some cash and then the suspect fled from the store.

 

 

 On Wednesday, February 7th at approximately 7:19 p.m., an attempted unarmed robbery occurred at Dunkin’ Donuts on 400 Quarry Street. Officers Kwin Silva, Sean Aguiar, and Street Supervisor Darlene Martel of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division responded.

According to the clerk, a white male entered the store and stood at the counter. When the clerk arrived at the counter, the male handed a note demanding all of the money. Upon reading the note, the clerk fled to the rear of the store and called for police.  The suspect is described as about 6’ to 6’2”, skinny build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
