Fall River Police respond to fourth business robbery in less than two days

Fall River Police are investigating the fourth business robbery in less than two days.

Just after 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday Officer Stavens responded to Seasons Gas Station located at 130 William S. Canning Blvd. in response to a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, Officer Stavens met with the clerk who explained that an unknown male entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied with his demands and the male fled the store on foot.

On Monday just before 2:00 p.m., Officer Keith Pires responded to Citizens Bank located at 501 Rodman St. in response to a reported bank robbery. Upon arrival, a bank employee explained to Officer Pires that an unknown white male, wearing a face covering, approached her teller window and demanded money from her cash drawer. The employee complied with his demands and the male fled the area on foot.

On Sunday afternoon, two robberies occurred within less than two hours of each other.

Fall River Reporter contacted the Fall River Police Department for an update on the four robberies on Tuesday and Sergeant Moses Pereira stated that he had no update, but one could possibly be coming later today or tomorrow.
