Fall River Police make arrest after man allegedly threatens clerk, demands money and cigarettes
Fall River Police made an arrest Friday evening after a man allegedly made threats, demands, and caused damage.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, just before 8:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to Ruby’s Convenience Store, 1737 Bay Street, in response to a report of an armed robbery.
During his investigation, Officer Samuel Chace was advised that a man had entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. The clerk did not comply with his demands. The male then threatened the clerk, caused damage to a cash register, and exited the business.
The suspect, 33-year-old, Christopher Delgado, of North Providence, Rhode Island was located nearby and taken into custody by police without incident.

They say all the real men don’t work or make any money, they just rob unarmed store clerks and little old ladies and such. And so, hats off to you, Mr. Delgado, for showing all of us how to be a real manly man. If anyone knows his inmate ID, I’d like to send him crayons and coloring books as a thank you.
