Fall River Police looking for suspect in afternoon bank robbery
Fall River Police are looking for a suspect in an afternoon bank robbery.
According to Captain Barden Castro, yesterday, just after 3:30 p.m., officers and detectives responded to Rockland Trust Bank, 855 Brayton Avenue, due to a reported robbery.
It was reported that a white male wearing a blue medical mask entered the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers. The male suspect was able to flee the bank with an undetermined amount of money.
A search of the area was conducted by officers and detectives, but they were unable to immediately locate the suspect.
The Major Crimes Division will be following up on this incident and checking security cameras and speaking with people in the area.
