Fall River Police locate reported suicidal man on Charles Braga Bridge

Some quick police work and a concerned caller may have just saved a man’s life on Friday night.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a suicidal man that reportedly parked his vehicle near the Carousel at Battleship Cove and was headed to the Charles Braga Bridge on foot.

Fall River Police began to search for the man in the area of the bridge.

An officer eventually located the possibly suicidal man on the bridge unharmed.

An ambulance was called to take the man to a local hospital.
