Fall River Police investigating Sunday armed robbery
Fall River Police are investigating an armed robbery from late Sunday night.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, at 10:00 p.m., the clerk at Stop & Save at 101 President Avenue stated a young male, possibly black, came into the store brandishing a handgun in his right hand and demanded that he give him the money.
Huard stated that the clerk gave the suspect an amount of currency.
The suspect reportedly fled on foot.
The assailant is described as 5’8″ tall while wearing a ski mask, gloves, and dark pants.
