Fall River Police investigating shooting where at least 8 shots were fired
Fall River Police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting.
According to Captain Barden Castro, just after 10:15 a.m., Uniform Division Officers responded for a shooting in the area of Wade Street. As part of the preliminary investigation, police confirmed that a confrontation took place where at least 8 shots were fired.
There were no reported injuries from the incident.
Detectives are following up, conducting interviews, and checking on the possibility of surveillance cameras in the area.
As of Wednesday evening, the investigation was still active with detectives still working the scene.
