Fall River Police investigating shooting that injured one
Fall River Police are investigating a Friday night shooting that left one person injured.
At approximately 11:23 p.m., a call came into dispatch concerning two shots fired on William Street. Another complainant stated that two shots were heard in the area of William and Hunter Streets.
According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, a man was shot once in the area of Hunter and William Street.
Shell casings and blood were discovered by Fall River Police at the scene.
The victim walked into the hospital after the incident and, according to Wiley, sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting is currently being investigated by the Major Crimes Division.
