Fall River Police investigating shooting after one injured in area of city playground
One person was injured after an evening shooting in Fall River.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, units responded at approximately 8:30 p.m. to the area of the Wamsutta Playground for multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
A 21-year-old male sustained what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury to his leg. He was transported to a trauma center for medical attention.
Major Crimes and Crime Scene have responded to assist with the investigation. No arrests have been made thus far.

Don’t fret my friend, soon there will be enough market rate apartments for everyone! Turf wars are heating up as neighborhood thugs are jockeying for $2500 a month apartments. Once the train to nowhere arrives in 2095 things will cool down and by then the waterfront will be filled with failed retail outlets and a new homeless encampment. Keep the Faith!!!
