Fall River Police investigating rollover crash after driver seen in pink robe
The Fall River Police Department is investigating a crash where the driver fled the scene on Thursday.
Just before 6:15 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a rollover crash involving a Toyota RAV4 in the area of 508 Grinnell Street.
Responders arrived on scene to find that the driver had fled from the collision.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle according to a witness.
Scanner transmissions revealed that the vehicle is a rental out of Rockland.
According to Deputy Chief Barden Castro, witnesses reported that the driver, a female, was wearing a pink robe when she fled from the crash.
Ofc. Daryan Rogers is investigating and is working on positively identifying the suspect.
