Fall River Police investigating reported shooting Friday
Fall River Police are investigating possible multiple shootings in the city on Friday.
A call came in just after 3:00 p.m. for shots fired on the corner of Lenox and Snell Streets. A casing was later discovered by Fall River Police on Snell.
A couple of shots were reportedly heard further east on Snell Street.
A witness called in to dispatch stating that at approximately 2:30 p.m. they called in for shots fired at 826 Pleasant Street, but dispatch had no record of the call. It was later corrected that the witness saw a bullet hole at Beira Alta, 826 Plymouth Avenue, not at 826 Pleasant Street.
When we contacted Fall River Police, Captain Dan Dube stated that the incident(s) were currently under investigation and no further comment would be made at this time.
It is currently unclear if a suspect has been arrested, if anyone was injured, or if there was one or multiple shootings.
