Fall River Police investigating reported Friday night shooting
Fall River Police are investigating a reported Friday night shooting.
According to Sergeant Joseph Galvao, a call came in at approximately 10:15 p.m. for shots fired in the area of 1986 North Main Street.
Officer Aaron Souza and other uniformed officers responded to the area and began to investigate. According to Souza, four witnesses heard 4-5 gunshots in the area. One of the witnesses observed a vehicle enter a driveway in which a man exited the vehicle and started shooting across the street at another man. The man being shot at then got into a vehicle and sped off. The shooter then got back into his vehicle and left the area.
Officers were unable to identify any vehicles, suspects, victims and/or locate any evidence regarding the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fall River Police Department.
