Fall River police investigating placement of hoax device
Fall River police responded to a call for a possible bomb/device this morning.
According to Detective John Robinson, at approximately 7:46 a.m. a male called Fall River police stating that there was a gallon milk jug with some type of harness with wires attached to it.
The device was on the corner on Danforth Street near Walnut Street according to witnesses.
According to witnesses, residents were instructed to stay in their homes as personnel came to inspect the device.
Robinson stated that it was determined to be a hoax device.
FRPD is still investigating.
